🎯 Objective

We aim to annotate 400 hours of Algerian Darija speech collected from web-scraped audio data.

  • Complete the annotations as quickly as possible
  • Ensure high-quality transcriptions
  • Transcribe using Arabic script, Latin alphabet, a mix of both, or numbers (3, 7, 9 commonly used in Darija writing)
  • Participants must transcribe exactly what they hear (no translation, no correction)

4 weeks — Open public challenge.

💰 Payment Policy

✅ Everyone is paid for their work, provided that:

  • The tasks are verified and accepted
  • The participant has no strikes
  • The participant completes full batches of 100 tasks

Annotation Value

100 verified tasks = 100 DZD

⚠️ Partial batches of fewer than 100 tasks are not eligible for payment.

Payment is processed after final verification.

⚠️ Quality & Strikes Policy

All submissions will be reviewed.

Low-quality or invalid submissions may result in a strike.

After 3 strikes, the participant is permanently disqualified.

Disqualified participants will not receive payment.
